The Horizon Farm Assurance Audit process strengthens farm standards across our supply base, with a particular focus on traceability, animal health and welfare on Polish family farms. This process underpins our commitment to improving the overall sustainability of our beef supply chain.
Certified farms benefit from tailored advice and support from our Farm Liaison Team, as well as potential access to the Horizon Plus Programme.
The Horizon Farm Assurance Audit takes place every three years and is conducted by our Farm Liaison Officers. Each audit consists of a comprehensive on farm evaluation alongside a detailed review of farm records to ensure all certification criteria are met prior to approval.
